When I began my transformation six months ago this was my motivation.
My favourite quote is definitely : “a queen is never late, the others are just earlier”. Ok this one isn't very deep but I seriously say this all the time because i'm a late person haha. Recently, I was very overwhelmed and stressed because of a health problem! I found myself extremely sad. I was crying every morning, every night. The only thing that gave me comfort was praying!
I prayed to God every single day. Despite my sadness, I neeeever lost faith and hope! I am not going to lie… I was very scared, but I never allowed my fear to became bigger than my faith on God! And guess what? Three days ago, the doctor told me that everything is under control 🙂
THANK GOD I am completely healthy :))) you can't even imagine the happiness in me… I am too grateful for the miracle of life! This experience was certainly very difficult for me, but it made me realized that we can't lose faith! God is always by our side! 🙂

This is my second entry for this amazing giveaway. Another one of my favourite quotes is:
‘Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.’ This is more of a practical quote which can be applied to everyday life. For example: when we gain knowledge from things, we should apply it into the practical world in order to help others and make the knowledge useful (kinda like what you do with your make up skills). “BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE” This is my favorite quote because it is very true. I am a senior in high school in Chicago. Chicago has a lot of violence especially with the youth. I worked as an intern at the Mikva Challenge and we focused our topic around youth incarceration. I was very passionate about this topic because I was affected by it. I had personal problems as well. Its amazing what a young group of teenagers from one of the most diverse cities in the country can do. We created policies on how we can help lessen the youth incarceration. We met with the Cook county executive board director ad pitched to her our ideas on what we had planned. She loved them. I wanted to make a difference in my community because youth are being targeted for harmless things, such as being out at an odd hour. I was stopped by police with a group of friends around 8p.m. on a week day. We had just hosted out schools annual haunted house but they thought other. Its pretty insane what police officers are capable on doing. I wanted to see change and give youth a chance to show we are not all the same. I did that, I helped get students more involved with the school with sports or extra curricular activities to keep them off the streets. I wanted to see change and make my community better, and that is exactly what I am doing. Thank you for taking time to read my explanation and thank you for such an amazing give away.
