Hello hello!! Happy Thursday!!! Today I have a grunge glam holiday look for you guys!! I’ve seen a lot of people asking me for this type of look 🙂 So I ditched the winged liner and grunged it up a bit this time ;P I think this look is perfect for a night out or a holiday party!     Hi carli, I love the look you did an I would recreate it, but the problem is that I don't have the dimmer scandal eyes neither the color of makeup geek, so I want to ask you what other colors I can use instead of those, I live in Mexico and it is so difficult to find the brands that you use, I already have the naked 2 and 3 palette and then bh Galaxy girl palette.     'Strength to accept what cannot be changed” This quote runs so deep for me. I unfortunately had to put down my dog Sisco ,who was my best friend for the past 8 years, it was very sudden and has definitely hit my family and I like a ton of bricks. It truly does feel like you lost a member of the family. Besides losing him and not being able to see him, pet him I was holding a lot of guilt that I could not do more for him and that I should have been able to save him from this. This quote helps me realize that this was out of my hands and I NEED to accept that I cannot change the outcome – what’s meant to be will be! Rather than dwelling on not being able to save him I need to adjust my focus on the good times I had with my little man and keep those memoires alive. This quote demonstrates courage, honesty and motivation to keep going through the tough times.

    I have a mini obsession with quotes and I love the fact that you begin each session with an inspirational quote it can really change someone’s outlook on life and brighten someone’s day, one minute you think you are watching this awesome Kim K makeup tutorial, but you actually get so much more from it with your inspiring opening segments!

    Keep it up and don’t ever change how motivational you are.

    HOLIDAY GIVEAWAY- Hi Carli. I had a tough time deciding between these two quotes. First, “It doesn't matter if your glass is half empty or half full. Be glad you have a glass to fill.” I love this quote because it reminds us to be thankful for what we have. So often I get caught up in the latest stuff and have a pity party because I cant get it. But whenever I hear this quote, I am able to take a step back and realize how truly blessed I am just to have a roof over my head. (: My next favorite quote is “everything happens for a reason.” This one is so simple but I think it means so much to my Family and I. I really had to tell myself this a couple months ago whenever my 2 year old sister was backed over in our driveway. I could not figure out what the reason could be, but I still kept telling myself everything happens for a reason. Later, when the XRAYS showed she had not a single bone broken, and stitches was the worst of her injuries, I figured out that she now would have an amazing testimony <3 Love you Carli.

    The reason I am writing to you is because I am aware as to what an incredible influence you have over so many people – women and young girls, particularly, who look up to you every day. I have recently come across a website that brought my attention to mink eyelashes and I have placed the link below. For the record, I absolutely love wearing false eyelashes, and I liked everything I saw and heard with regards to the velour lashes, especially the ones you helped create! They're beautiful and I wanted to buy that specific pair! However, doing research and reading about the process of making these lashes made me not want to buy them. The reason why I wanted to bring your attention to this particular website is because I know you're a very influential person and you truly have the power to affect change. My research proves that mink lashes are not cruelty free. These animals are kept in cages, in terrible conditions. If you take a look at the mink fur farms you will see what I'm talking about.

    I respect and appreciate all that you do, and I am only asking if you could look into this when you can because there is too much false advertising. The last thing I want is to offend anyone, but I love all animals and I want to spread awareness about this matter. Thank you very much for your time.
